MOL Group in Norway

In 2015 MOL Group has entered Norway by acquiring 100 % ownership of Ithaca Norge, a pre-qualified operator. The deal immediately doubled the size of MOL Group’s exploration portfolio, adding 600 MMboe of net un-risked best estimate prospective reserves. MOL Norge have extended its portfolio through farm-ins and APA-awards and currently have a portfolio with  ownership in 13  production licenses (7 of them are operated).

MOL Norge is present in three core areas, in Central Graben South, South Viking Graben and Northern North Sea and further extends its presence through farm-in to new licenses and APA round awards.

MOL Group is developing a new offshore exploration hub and centre of excellence in Norway, building on the experience of a strong exploration-focused team on site.
